چکیده

In order to address the low thermal efficiency of low-rank coal combustion and accompanying serious environmental issues, formed coke was prepared using a carbonization consolidation method with semi-coke. The test for briquetting carbonation conditions revealed that optimal parameters were pressure 93.63 MPa, moisture content 16%, Ca(OH)2 binder amount 10%, CO2 concentration 30% at 20 °C. Under these time 60 min, high-quality produced, exhibiting compressive strength 1256.2 N/a, redrying 286.2 dropping 10.6 number/a. characteristics investigated, revealing ignition temperatures (345.39 °C), burnout (495.57 peak maximum weight loss rate (437.93 °C) are slightly higher than those bituminous coal. calorific value briquette 20.4 MJ/kg. During process, emission concentrations SO2, NOX, solid particles from significantly lower coal, indicating it is cleaner energy source. Moreover, adding effectively reduced SO2 emissions achieved sulfur fixation reduction.

Regeneration performance and carbon consumption of semi-coke and activated coke for SO₂ and NO removal.

To decrease the operating cost of flue gas purification technologies based on carbon-based materials, the adsorption and regeneration performance of low-price semi-coke and activated coke were compared for SO2 and NO removal in a simulated flue gas. The functional groups of the two adsorbents before and after regeneration were characterized by a Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectrometer, a...

Development of Rapid Curing Process of Reactive Coke Agglomerate

We commercialized Reactive Coke Agglomerate (RCA), a cement-bonded pellet to decrease the thermal reserve zone temperature for the reduction of the reducing agent rate of blast furnaces. To achieve a high productivity of supplying RCA to large blast furnaces, a rapid curing process of RCA using steam was investigated. We obtained rapid curing of RCA within 18 h by combining primary curing for 1...

Removal of residual phenols from coke wastewater by adsorption.

After biological treatment, coke wastewater contains small amounts of phenolic compounds resistant to such treatment. The removal of phenols and COD from coke wastewater subjected to biological treatment was studied. The adsorbents used were granular activated carbon and the resins XAD-2, AP-246 and OC-1074. Equilibrium, kinetics and column assays were carried out, fitting the equilibrium data ...
